市・県民税について Municipal residence tax

あなたが稼いだお金に対してかかる税金です。
It is the tax on the money you have earned.

そのうち、国に納める税金のことを所得税といい、あなたが住んでいる市に納める税金のことを市・県民税といいます。
The tax you pay to the country is called “income tax” and the tax you pay to the city is called “municipal residence tax”.

申告について Declare

あなたが稼いだお金を2月から3月の間に市役所に伝える必要があります。
During February and March, you should declare the money you have earned to City Hall.
